SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco women's golf team concludes its fall schedule at The Clash at Boulder Creek, Sunday through Tuesday, Oct. 25-27, at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
The three-day tournament features 54 holes of competition as the Dons look to finish their fall campaign on a strong note before heading into the offseason.
San Francisco enters the tournament following a 10th-place finish at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in Lawrence, Kan., where the Dons finished at 78-over-par at Lawrence Country Club.
Melia Gustavson led the Green and Gold, tying for 22nd overall at 11-over-par (227), recording rounds of 76, 75 and 76. Jillian Leh followed in a tie for 34th at 15-over-par (231), while Emily Guan finished one stroke behind at 16-over-par (232), tying for 39th.
Despite battling injuries throughout the fall, San Francisco will look to capitalize on opportunities for other members of the roster to contribute in its final tournament of the season.
"We are looking forward to finishing our fall on a high note," said Head Coach Sara Doell. "It has been a tough fall for us with some injuries but we have members of our 'stay ready crew' that are stepping up to represent us in [Boulder City]. I am looking forward to seeing how we can bounce back and go into the offseason with some confidence!"
The Dons will begin competition Sunday, Oct. 25, with the opening round before continuing play Monday and concluding the tournament Tuesday. The event marks San Francisco's final competition of the fall as the team looks to carry momentum into its spring season.
