The Clash at Boulder Creek - Day Three

BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- The University of San Francisco women's golf team concluded competition at the Clash at Boulder Creek Tuesday afternoon, finishing ninth overall in the 19-team field at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Dons finished the three-round tournament at six-over-par (870), recording rounds of 285 (-3), 294 (+6) and 291 (+3). Kansas claimed the team title at 47-under-par (817), followed by Boise State (-39) and Houston (-19) to round out the top three.
Romina Aguirre led San Francisco on the individual leaderboard, tying for 27th overall at even-par (216). After opening the tournament with an even-par 72 and following with a two-over 74, Aguirre closed out competition with a two-under 70 in the final round to secure the Dons' top individual finish.
Jillian Leh followed closely behind, tying for 31st at one-over-par (217). Leh highlighted her tournament with an impressive four-under 68 in the opening round, the lowest individual round recorded by a San Francisco golfer throughout the event. She followed with rounds of 73 and 76 to complete the tournament.
Melia Gustavson finished tied for 41st at three-over-par (219), improving throughout the tournament after opening with a 75. Following a second-round 74, Gustavson carded a two-under 70 in the final round, matching Aguirre for the team's lowest score on Tuesday.
Emily Guan tied for 62nd at six-over-par (222), recording rounds of 74, 73 and 75. Lexi Booras rounded out the San Francisco lineup, finishing tied for 68th at seven-over-par (223) after posting rounds of 71, 74 and 78.
Kansas' Ebba Nordstedt earned individual medalist honors, finishing at 16-under-par (200) following rounds of 67, 67 and 66.
