SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has officially announced its bracket for the upcoming 2026 Credit Union 1 WCC Women's Basketball Championship on Sunday morning.
San Francisco finished the 2025-26 regular season with a 16-13 overall record and 9-9 in conference play, securing the No. 7 seed.
LMU won the West Coast Conference regular season title for the second time in program history, after previously capturing 2003-04 title. The Lions entered Saturday tied with Gonzaga for first place. They claimed the regular season championship outright with an overtime victory at Oregon State, followed by a Gonzaga loss to Portland later in the day. LMU finished the conference slate 15-3 and will have a bye to Monday's semifinal round.
Gonzaga is the No. 2 seed with a 14-4 record and will also play its first game in the semifinal round on Monday March 9. This is Gonzaga's 10th consecutive year as a top-two seed in the tournament.
Santa Clara and Oregon State tied for third place in the regular season standings. The Broncos secured the No. 3 seed with an 83-70 win over the Beavers in their only meeting during the regular season to earn the head-to-head tiebreaker. Oregon State will be the No. 4 seed.
Portland's overtime victory over Gonzaga Saturday improved the Pilots to 11-7 overall and secured the No. 5 seed.
Pepperdine finished 10-8, improving its conference win total by seven and its seeding by four from a year ago, as the Waves will be the No. 6 seed in this year's tournament. San Francisco will be the No. 7 seed with a 9-9 conference record.
