Women's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) women's soccer program and interim head coach Alexis Mata released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season on Friday.
"We are excited to get started here real soon," said Mata. "New season, new standard, same relentless belief in what USF soccer can become."
Mata enters her first season at the helm of the Dons after replacing former head coach Pinder Nijjar, who stepped down earlier this offseason. Mata was named interim head coach by Director of Athletics Brent Blaylock on July 2.
San Francisco brings back two of its four all-conference selections from last season as Tyra Bengtsson-Stenseth and Alicia Osegueda, who both earned spots on the All-WCC Freshman Team, will return to the Hilltop.
The 2026 schedule features 18 total matches - two exhibitions, nine home matches, and seven road matches. Beginning with local opponents, the Dons will start their new season with an exhibition at UC Davis on Aug. 5 before heading to the South Bay for an exhibition at San José State on Aug. 8.
USF's first regular-season home match is set for Aug. 13 when the green and gold welcome CSU Bakersfield for a 6:00 pm battle. Other notable home matches include a showdown against another local foe, Sacramento State, on Aug. 20, followed by a visit from Oregon on Aug. 23.
