Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at CDA National Reserve Invitational

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – The University of San Francisco men's golf team concluded the CDA National Reserve Invitational in fourth place, finishing the three-round tournament at 8-over at CDA National Reserve.
San Francisco opened the tournament with a 3-over first round before moving under par in round two with a 1-under team score, placing the Dons in a tie for fourth entering the final round. USF closed with a 6-over third round to secure sole possession of fourth place in the 16-team field.
William Svanström led the way for San Francisco, finishing tied for second overall at 7-under. After opening with an even-par 72, Svanström followed with a 3-under 69 in the second round before closing with a 4-under 68 to move five spots up the leaderboard on the final day.
Theo Anderson also earned a top-15 finish, tying for 15th at 2-over with rounds of 74, 72 and 72.
Competing as an individual, Hayden Thill finished tied for 17th at 3-over. Thill highlighted his tournament with a 5-under 67 in the second round, the lowest single-round score by a San Francisco golfer during the event.
Nils Svanberg finished tied for 41st at 7-over, while Svante Palmgren placed tied for 60th at 11-over. Nathan Pouchoulon rounded out the San Francisco lineup tied for 71st at 13-over.
