2015-16 (Junior)
Fall 2015: Concluded the fall with a 2-2 record, going 0-1 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles...Paired up with Ka to win the doubles title at the Battle in the Bay Classic, defeating Pepperdine’s Laura Gulbe and Dzina Milovanovic 8-7(6) in the championship match...Lost 6-4, 6-0 to Marie Klocker of San Jose State at the Battle in the Bay Classic in her lone singles match of the season.
Spring 2016: Finished the year with a 5-10 record on court No. 2 for the Dons...Went 3-3 in WCC contests...Claimed a win over Laura Valkova of No. 39 South Alabama- 3-6, 7-6, 10-5...Won three set contests against opponents from Portland and Gonzaga...Also defeated Andrea Crespo of LMU with a score of, 6-3, 6-4...Went 10-5 in doubles action as Taune went 10-4 when paired with Ka...Also went 4-2 in doubles conference action...Taune was an Honorable Mention All-West Coast Conference singles player...Named to the WCC’s All-Academic Women’s Tennis team with a 3.73 GPA as a business administrator major.
2014-15 (Sophomore)
Fall 2014: Singles: Took to the court eight times for the Dons, going 3-5 overall...Started her season off with a victory against Jana McCord of St. Mary’s, 6-4, 6-0...Doubles: Worked with three different partners and played in a total of six matches, going 2-4 overall.
Spring 2015: A Second Team All-WCC Singles player for the second straight year…Earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention...Singles: Went 14-8 overall, competing in the No. 2 singles position...Won four straight matches to begin the spring, picking up victories over Sacramento State, Cal Poly, San Jose State and Kansas...Finished 7-3 in WCC competition...Doubles: With partner Genevieve McCloskey, went 7-4 in WCC play and earned an overall record of 9-11 playing mostly at the No. 2 position…Picked up a three match winning steak against teams from Loyola Marymount, Pacific and St. Mary’s.
2013-14 (Freshman)
Fall 2013: Singles: Dominated her first season for USF with a singles record of 13-2....Won five straight matches to take home the title at the St. Mary’s Invitational, defeating LMU’s Miya Jin 7-5, 7-5 in the finals to take win it all...Doubles: Won the Cal Nike Invitational with Nikolic, beating doubles teams from Marquette, UC Davis and St. Mary’s...Ended the fall slate with an overall doubles record of 8-2.
Spring 2014: Named the WCC Freshman of the Year...Named to the All-WCC Second Team for singles...Singles: Started her spring season off with four straight wins against UCSC, Sacramento State, Cal Poly and UCSB...Ended the season with five straight wins...Doubles: Played mostly with Holmberg, teaming up to go 8-8, including three straight wins against teams from SDSU, Portland and Gonzaga.
