Biography

2014-15 (JUNIOR): One of the team’s most improved players in the 2014-15 season…appeared in 31 games and made 14 starts…averaged 4.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and shot 54.2 percent (58-for-107) from the field…played 553 minutes on the year, more than his first two seasons combined and 412 more than his sophomore season…had five double-figure scoring games on the season, topped off by a career high 13-point effort in a loss at BYU on Jan. 29…had five or more rebounds in seven games including a career-best eight boards at Loyola Marymount…started the second game of the season and then came off the bench for the next four contests…made three consecutive starts against Houston Baptist, Eastern Washington and Cal Poly…came off the bench for the next six contests but started 10 of the last 16 games to close the regular season…made 5-of-7 shots from the floor and scored 10 points at Colorado…made all three shots from the floor and was 5-for-7 from the line in a 11-point scoring effort at Cleveland State…registered a career-best 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor at BYU on Jan. 29…also reached double-figures in the overtime win over Santa Clara (10) and in a 34-point victory at Loyola Marymount.

2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 24 of the 33 games as key reserve…averaged 0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds while shooting 33.3 percent (6-of-18) from the field…of his 18 total rebounds, 10 came off the offensive glass…scored a season high five points against BYU in the semifinals of the WCC Championships in Las Vegas…tallied four points in the home win over Loyola Marymount…pulled down at least two rebounds in six of his appearances, including a season-high three boards vs. LMU on Jan. 2.

2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Played in 26 of the 31 games and made eight starts…averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds while shooting .489 (23-for-47) from the field…was one of four players to draw starts on the post, joining Frank Rogers (2), Tao Xu (16) and Mark Tollefsen (5)…saw limited action over the first nine games of the season…became a mainstay in the rotation beginning with the Ole Miss game at the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu…game began a 16-game stretch in which he averaged 16.4 minutes a game…earned his first career start against Loyola Marymount on Jan. 19 after solid back-to-back efforts at Saint Mary’s (8 points, 5 rebounds) and Santa Clara (12 points)…started eight consecutive games in the middle during the heart of conference play before giving away to Mark Tollefsen at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 21...scored a season-high 12 points in a home loss to Santa Clara on Jan. 17…was 5-for-5 from the field against the Broncos…pulled down a season-best six rebounds against East Tennessee State at the Diamond Head Classic….logged a season-high 27 minutes at Gonzaga on Jan. 26.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City...played for Tondrell Durham…was a four-year starter…averaged 10.9 points as a senior after scoring at a 15.0 clip as a junior…helped Bishop McGuinness to the Oklahoma 5A state title as a senior after back-to-back runner-up finishes…ranked No. 53 center nationally and No. 1 in the state at his position by ESPN…listed on MaxPreps Top 100 list…earned all-state honorable mention accolades following his freshman and junior seasons…was rated as the No. 2 player in the state and No. 45 nationally following his junior season…competed for the Athletes First AAU team which advanced to the elite Nike Peach Jam national tournament both his junior and senior seasons…selected for the 2011 Reebok Classic Breakout Elite Camp….parents are Mark and Jane Christiansen…born in Oklahoma City, Okla.
