Biography

CAREER: Two-year letterwinner who transferred to USF from Chipola (Fla.) College for the 2013-14 season…averaged 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in 65 career games, including 46 starts…shot 50.0 percent from the field…had nine double-doubles (points-rebounds) in two seasons…earned All-WCC honorable mention as a junior and was an All-WCC preseason pick as a senior.
 
2014-15 (SENIOR): Finished as the team’s second leading scorer with a 13.9 average and tied for the team lead in rebound average at 5.5 per game…shot 48.7 percent from the field, including 39 percent (32-for-82) from three-point range…ranked 11th among all WCC players in scoring average and finished 13th in rebound average…ranked 12th in field goal percentage, 13th in 3-point field goal percentage and 10th in offensive rebounds (2.2)…led the team in scoring on 11 occasions and topped the Dons in rebounding in 10 games…started the first 24 games of the season before coming off the bench in five out of the last six regular season contests…scored in double-figures in 22 games, including a career-high 30-point effort against Eastern Washington on Dec. 11…also pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds in the game, one of five contests with 10 or more rebounds…scored 20 or more points four times over his first 11 games (26 vs. Notre Dame de Namur; 26 vs. Montana; 30 vs. Eastern Washington; 23 vs. Portland State)…averaged 16.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in 12 non-conference games and 12.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in WCC action…began a stretch of six consecutive double-figure scoring games with a 15-point effort against BYU on Jan. 3 on the Hilltop…scored 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting at Gonzaga…made 4-of-7 threes in the game en route to his fifth 20-point scoring night of the season…tallied 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor in a loss at San Diego…didn’t score more than 12 points in his next six games before ending the regular season with an 18-point effort against Pacific…tallied 14 points against Pacific in the WCC Championships and finished the season with a five-point, seven-rebound effort against Gonzaga.

2013-14 (JUNIOR): Made an immediate impact in his first season on the Hilltop…WCC honorable mention selection after averaging 12.2 points and 6.5 rebounds a game…also shot 51.4 percent from the floor…led or share team-high scoring honors six times…was the team’s leading rebounder in 12 games…finished 21st in the WCC in scoring average (12.2), 13th in rebounding (8.5) and 11th in field goal percentage (51.4)…averaged a WCC-best 3.2 offensive rebounds per game…registered five double-doubles on the year against Montana (20-11), Pepperdine (19-11), BYU (14-11), at San Diego (14-11) and at Loyola Marymount (12-11)…also pulled down 10 rebounds in games against Illinois State, at Gonzaga and LSU…came off the bench for the first 14 games of the season before starting the last 19 contests…Dons were 12-7 in his 19 starts…fouled out of a team-high seven games…seven DQs were the second-highest single-season total in school history…scored a game-high 19 points in his USF debut against Notre Dame de Namur…was held to nine and six points against Cleveland State and Nevada…scored in double-figures in each of the next five games against Idaho State (14), at Montana (22), at Oregon (20), Sonoma State (12) and Vermont (13)…was 30-for-44 (68.1) from the field during the five-game stretch…made his first start against Loyola Marymount on Jan. 2 and responded with nine points and eight rebounds in a 23-minute playing stint…notched his second double-double of the season two nights later against Pepperdine with 19 points to go along with 11 rebounds…scored 20 points in 26 minutes against Portland on Jan. 29, capping off a five-game stretch in which he averaged 15.6 points a game…made 7-of-8 shots from the floor en route to a 14-point performance at San Diego on Feb. 6…scored a career-high 26 points in a road win at Santa Clara on Feb. 15…was 8-for-11 from the field and knocked down 10-of-11 free throws…was named the WCC’s Player of the Week for his performance…followed up with a solid 16-point, 5-rebound effort against Saint Mary’s as the Dons snapped a 17-game losing streak to the Gaels with a 73-62 home win…scored in double-figures just twice over the last six games of the season…pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds against LSU in a first round NIT game in Memorial Gymnasium.

CHIPOLA COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Chipola College in Marianna, Fla….earned first team All-Panhandle League honors after averaging 11.4 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor as a sophomore…scored a season-high 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in Chipola’s win over Brunswick Community College on Dec. 1…helped the Indians to a 26-5 overall record and a 8-4 mark in the Panhandle Conference…Chipola was ranked 13th in the final National Junior College Athletic Association Top-25 poll after being ranked as high as No. 1 in the nation early in the season…averaged 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the floor as a freshman…scored a season-high 31 points against Northwest Florida.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Marianna (Fla.) High School…played for head coach Travis Blanton…averaged 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds a game while shooting 55 percent from the floor as a senior.
