WCC All-Academic honorable mention - XC (2016, 17)

2018 Track & Field: Earned MPSF All-Academic honors…raced to a season best in the 3,000 meters at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 24), finishing the race with a time of 9:53.17…at the Hornet Invitational (Mar. 16), she finished the 1,500 meters with a mark of 4:43.79 to finish 15^th...in her lone appearance in the 10,000 meters at the SF State Distance Carnival (Mar. 30), she posted a mark of 26:20.46.

2017 Cross Country: Competed twice for the Dons in 2017... posted a 6K mark of 23:44.2 at the USF Invitational to finish 24th.

2017 Track & Field: Raced for USF on four occasions during the season … earned a personal-best time of 4:34.86 to take third in the 1,500 meters at the Aggie Open on March 11 … rounded the track in 16:48.48 in the 5,000 meters at the SF State Distance Carnival on March 31 to turn in a personal best time and a 12th place finish.

2016 Cross Country: Competed three times for the Dons … turned in a season-best 6K performance of 21:32.7 to take 13th at the USF Invitational on Sept. 3 and open the season … also competed at the Griak on Sept. 24 and the Wisconsin Invitational (Open Division) on Oct. 14 … WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection.

2016 Track & Field: Competed in six meets for the Dons, in four distances ranging from 1,500 to 10,000 meters … raced to a season-best time of 4:35.00 in the 1,500 m to take 15th at the Hornet Open on March 19 … recorded a season-best 5,000 m mark of 16:59.66 to finish in 12th place at the SF State Distance Carnival on April 1 … finished the 10,000 m in 36:01.29 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 14.

2015 Cross Country: A West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention selection...Placed 31st at the WCC Championships with a time of 22:38.8...Took 199th at the NCAA West Regionals, finishing the course in 23:40.2...Raced at the NCAA Championships, placing 254th overall with a time of 23:45.5...Competed at Pre-Nationals on Oct. 17, finishing the course in 21:42.2 to take 194th...Placed 109th at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 26, finishing the 6K course in 23:33.2...Took 11th at the Boise State Dual Meet, finishing the course in 22:50.06...Raced in the opening meet of the 2015 season, placing 13th in the San Francisco Invitational with a time of 18:24.1.

2015 Track & Field: Ran the second-fastest 5,000M for a freshman in program history, clocking in at 17:07.25...Best marks: 5000M (17:07.25; SF State Distance Carnival), 10,000M (36:44.50; Mt. SAC Invitational).

2014 Cross Country: Competed in six cross country meets…Opened the season with top 20 finishes in the USF Invitational and WCC Preview…Placed 27th at the WCC Championships with a time of 21:13, her best time of the season on a 6k course.

High School and Personal: Competed in four seasons of cross country for the Clairemont Chieftans, posting high school bests of 17:54 (3 miles) and 19:07 (5 miles)...Ran track for three years, turning in best times of 5:09 (1600 m) and 11:07 (3200 m)...Coached by Sean Stevenson and Tracy Wright...Also competed in two seasons of high school soccer..Daughter of Kathy and Bryan Nielsen...Plans to major in biology and contemplating a profession in pediatric medicine...Born Jan. 1, 1996, in San Diego.
