2017 Track & Field: Second-team All-American on the indoor oval in the 5,000 meters, where he placed 16th at the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 10 … competed in the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships in the 10,000 meter semifinals on May 25 … set a school record in the 5K at the Husky Indoor Invitational on Feb. 10, rounding the track in 13:47.57 to take seventh … recorded a USF record in the 10K with a 15th place finish and a time of 28:46.83 at the Stanford Invitational on March 31.

2016 Cross Country: USF All-American … West Coast Conference Individual Champion … became USF’s first male cross country All-American after taking 22nd at the NCAA National Championships, completing the 10K course in 30:12.1 on Oct. 28 … raced to first place at the WCC Championships on Nov. 11 turning in an 8K time of 24:19.4 ... took seventh with a season-best 8K mark of 24:11.2 at Pre-Nationals on Oct. 15 … raced to fourth at the NCAA West Regionals with a season-best 10K time of 29:47.8 on Nov. 11 to earn an at-large bid to nationals … led USF to eighth place at the regional meet  - its highest-ever regional finish … secured four top 10 finishes and six top 25 finishes on the year ... posted the three fastest 8K times by a Don on the season … WCC Runner of the Month (Oct.) ... selected to the WCC All-Academic team.

2016 Track & Field: NCAA West Preliminary Championships semifinalist in the 10,000 meters … qualified for the NCAA regional field after taking 18th at the Stanford Invitational on April 1, turning in a time of 29:19.55 … clocked in with a time of 14:13.48 to take 13th in the 5,000 m at the Stanford Twilight on April 22.

2015 Cross Country: An All-West Coast Conference and All-West Region performer during his first campaign on the Hilltop ... named the WCC Runner of the Month for September ... 2015 NCAA Championships Qualifier ... took first place at the Boise State dual meet, pacing the Dons with a time of 24:55.1 ... earned a top five finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, completing the course in 25:04.8 ... placed 31st at Pre-Nationals with a time of 23:45.7 ... put himself on the All-WCC team with a fourth place performance at the conference championships, completing the course in 24:58.2 ... named to the NCAA All-West Region team after taking 15th overall with a time of 21:26.2 ... earned a spot at the NCAA Championships as an at-large bid, the third year in a row the Dons have sent an individual qualifier to the national meet.

High School/Prep/International and Personal: Took 25th individually and helped Great Britain to third at the 2016 U23 European Cross Country Championships in Chia, Italy on Dec. 11 ... finished 7th in the BUCS Championship in cross country in 2015 ... took 19th place at the English Cross Country Championships in 2015 ... competed in the Home Countries International and the U-23 European Cross Country Championships in 2014 ... won the 3000m of the Essex County Championships in 2012 with a time of 9:09.11 ... ranked 49th in the United Kingdom in the 5000m among U-23 competitors ... personal bests include: 2:06.5, 4:08.47 (1500m), 8:49.55 (3000m), 15:11.67 (5000m) ... coached by Phillip O’Dell and Gupta Deli ... son of Christopher and Michelle Short ... enjoys watching movies and listening to music during free time.
