2018 Track & Field: Competed in seven races in his first season as a Don…in his debut in the 3,000 meter steeplechase he posted a season-best mark of 9:25.18 at the SF State Distance Carnival (Mar. 31)…posted a personal best time of 3:53.00 in the 1,500m at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational (Apr. 14) to finish ninth overall…also competed in the indoor season in the mile, posting a time of 4:17.34 at the Husky Classic (Feb. 10).

2017 Cross Country: Competed in four of the five races in 2017...finished 10th in his first collegiate race at the USF Invitational...finished the Roy Griak Invitational in 72nd place with a time of 27:10.5...raced to a season-best time of 25:30.9 at the WCC Championships to place 45th...finished the Nuttycombe Invitational Open Division in 69th place with a time of 26:16.1.

High School: He competed with the cross country and track & field teams all four years at De La Salle HS ... Was named to the first-team NCS Championships as a sophomore ... Won the 1600m EBAL Championship with a time of 4:17.79 ... Won the 800m EBAL Championship with a time of 1:54.13 ... Won NCS Championship in cross country.

Personal: Son of Silvia De Leon and Moises De Leon ... Intends to study physics and engineering while at USF ... In his free time he likes to fish, bike, read, clean and watch movies.
