2021-22 (GRADUATE STUDENT): Played in 34 games making 34 starts…earned All-WCC First Team honors for the second straight season…also earned NABC All-District First Team Honors and was named a Lou Henson Award Finalist...finished first on the team in scoring averaging 17.3 points per game…capped his career with an career-high 36 points on 13/26 from the field in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against No. 20 Murray State…finished third overall in scoring in the WCC…scored 587 total points, marking his his third consecutive season scoring at least 400 points… finished his career with over 1,718 total points scored, good for fifth all-time…made 72 three-point field goals, shooting 36.7 percent from behind the arc (72-196)... shot 47.0 percent overall from the field (219-466)…finished with 20 points in a team-high 12 games…scored in double figures in all but five games… led the team and was second in the WCC in steals per game at 1.8…led the team and WCC in total minutes (1,230) and minutes per game (36.2 mins)...finished with the wins in USF men's basketball history (98)... also played in the most games in program history (160)
2020-21 (SENIOR): Named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team...named to the NABC Second Team All-Distric 9 team...led the Dons in minutes played, field goal percentage, 3-point field goal percentage, assists, points, and points per game in a stellar senior campaign...played and started all 25 games averaging 33.8 minutes per contest...led USF with 17.3 points per game which is 20th most in a single season in USF history...led USF with a .500 field goal percentage (173-for-346)...was one of 17 players in the country to make 170 or more field goals and shoot 50.0 percent or better from the field - of that list, Bouyea is one of two guards, the rest being forwards and centers...with his 432 points scored, Bouyea has scored 400 or more points in back-to-back seasons. In doing so, he joins Charles Minlend (2018-20), Frankie Ferrari (2017-19), Tim Derksen (2014-16), Kruize Pinkins (2013-15), and Cole Dickerson (2012-14) as the only players in the last 10 years to accomplish this feat...became the 39th player in USF history to eclipse the 1,000 point plateau, accomlishing that against Saint Mary's on Jan. 23...finished in double figures in 23 of the 25 games this season...scored 20 or more eight times...finished with a career-high 33 points in the loss at home against Loyola Marymount on Feb. 18 in that contest he was 11-for-26 from the field...in the Dons upset win over No. 4 Virginia Bouyea finished with 19 points and six assists...against California he finished with 24 points going 10-for-17 from the field.
2019-20 (JUNIOR): Named to the All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention Team…played in and started all 34 games…the 34 games played is tied for eighth most in USF single season history…recorded career-highs in minutes played (1,122) and minutes per game (33.0)...the 1222 minutes played is sixth most in a single-season in USF history…was one of five Dons to finish with 300 or more points, finishing second on the team with 416 points and 12.2 points per game…the 12.2 ppg was 15th in the WCC…led the team with 3.5 assists per game which ranked ninth in the WCC…finished third in the WCC in steals per game (1.6) and total steals (55)…shot 49.2 percent from the field (162-329) which was second on the team…finished with 20 games in double figures…finished with a season-high 23 points in the win over BYU on Jan. 25…in WCC play he scored 173 points, averaging 10.8 points per game which was tied for third on the team…shot 43.8 percent in WCC play…was 22-for-29 from the free throw line in conference play.
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 31 games...averaged 23.0 minutes per contest and logged 714 minutes...went 70-for-150 from the field for a 46.7 field goal percentage..was 19-for-62 from beyond the arc for a 30.6 3-point field goal percentage...scored 193 points on the year, averaging 6.2 points per game...scored 10 or more five times...averaged 3.3 rebounds per game and 1.29 assists per game...finished the year tied for third with 15 blocks...notched his first double-digit scoring outing of the season against Dartmouth scoring 14 points, also had seven rebounds that game...in WCC play he averaged 6.1 points per game which was seventh on the team, averaged 20.9 minutes per game in conference play...on Jan. 19 he scored a career-high 15 points in the win over BYU, went 7-for-10 from the field, also grabbed four rebounds, with three assists and two steals...in the win over Pepperdine on Feb. 14 he finished with 13 points, scored 11 of his 13 points after the intermission.
2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 36 games, making 10 starts…the 36 games played is tied for fifth all-time in a single season...averaged 13.4 minutes per game and 2.5 points per contest…scored 90 points on the season going 33-for-101 from the field…made his Dons debut on Nov. 10 against Long Beach State, playing 18 minutes in his first career start…played a season-high 30 minutes against Arizona State on Dec…came off the bench for the Dons in WCC play averaging 12.6 minutes per contest and 3.2 points per game…scored a season-high 13 points in the win over Pepperdine on Jan. 20…went 3-for-5 from 3-point range in the contest…appeared in all five CBI contests for the Dons playing 42 minutes.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Joins the Dons after graduating from Palma High School…was a four-time letter winner for head coach Kelly Lopez…his senior campaign he averaged 19.1 points per game, while dishing out 6.1 assists per contest…he was named the Monterey Herald All-County Player of the Year in his junior and senior year…named to the MaxPreps Division Four First Team All-State Team…named to the Prep2prep All-Central Coast Section First Team…his junior year he led the Chieftains to a NorCal Division IV Championships…that season he averaged 18 points per game and was named to the Second Team Division IV MaxPreps All-State Team….parents are Lawanda and Stanislaus, he has two brothers: Keevin and Jonquis, his brother Jonquis played basketball at Cal State Monterey Bay.
