2014 TRACK & FIELD: Raced the 3,000 meters at the Cal Opener on March 8, taking sixth with a time of 9:04.32 ... took ninth at the Aggie Invitational on March 15, clocking in with a 3,000 meter time of 9:00.86.
2013 CROSS COUNTRY: Saw action at two meets for the Dons, clocking in with a season-best 8K time of 25:34.5 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 19
2013 TRACK & FIELD: Competed at four meets for USF, in three distances - 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 meters ... turned in a season-best time of 15:48.41 in the 5,000 meters at the Aggie Open on March 9, good for fourth place ... raced the 3,000 meters once, finishing in 8:52.7 at the West Coast Quad on Feb. 23 ... took 19th in the 1,500 meters at the Stanford Opener, racing to a time of 4:03.04.
2012 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four meets for the Dons…ran his fastest race at the West Coast Conference Championships 8k with a time of 25:57 (10/27)…was the 4th fastest USF runner in the San Francisco Invitational 8k (9/1).
2012 TRACK & FIELD: Set two personal bests in the 1500 and the 5000 during the season at the Hornet Open (3/17) and the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (4/6), respectively.
2011 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran six races for the Dons… lowered his personal best time three times to 25:59 (32nd) at the Doc Adams Invitational... placed 24th in the Open division at the Bronco Invitational... placed 59th in the WCC at 27:23.
2011 TRACK & FIELD: Competed five times for the Dons… ran his best 5000m in 15:22.09 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (3/25)… fastest 1500m was 4:06.58 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational.
2010 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in four races for the Dons... finished 15th at the San Francisco State Invitational in 26:35... was 18th in the 8k open race at the Bronco Invitational... ran a personal best 26:28 at the Doc Adams Invitational.
PREP CAREER: Two-time California State qualifier in cross country… ran 16:18 on the Woodward Park course… posted personal bests of 4:25 for 1600m and 9:40 for 3200m.
PERSONAL: Majoring in exercise sports science ... son of Eric Johansen and Susan Mayeda ... plans to attend graduate school for physical therapy.
