SOPHOMORE: Significantly stepped up his game averaging 5.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 29 starts...In USF's regular season sweep of Santa Clara, scored 11 points, including the game-winning shot in USF's 62-60 win on the road and scored 16 points (and 10 boards) in home win...started 29 of 31 games...34 blocks led the team...he also led the team in field goal percentage in both overall (50.0%) and league (55.8%) play.

FRESHMAN: Had a solid freshman season...named the team's Most Improved Player...appeared in all 31 games...averaged 2.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest ...shot a solid 48.2% from the floor...11 blocks on year...season high 10 points vs. SMS in Guardians Classic game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for state champion Horizon HS in 2002-03 averaging 19.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 4 blocks per game...named all-Coastal League and San Diego Section all-CIF.

PERSONAL: Alan is the son of the late former San Diego Padres and Baltimore Orioles secondbaseman Alan Wiggins, who played in the 1984 World Series.
