2015-16 (SOPHOMORE): First team All-WCC selection…ranked third in the WCC in tied for 27th nationally in scoring average at 20.3…tied for the sixth-highest scoring sophomore in the nation…his scoring average was the 13th highest single-season mark in school history while his point total (608) ranked 10th all-time…scored in double figures in 29 of 30 games on the year…ranked sixth in the WCC in assist average (4.9), eighth in three-pointers made (2.2) and fourth in minutes played (34.7)…had 18, 20-plus scoring games on the season, including three 30-point outings vs. Coppin State (31), Gonzaga (33) and Pepperdine (33)…shot 41.8 percent (65-for-86) from long distance…made a season-high five 3-pointers on two occasions vs. Pacific and Gonzaga…teamed with Tim Derksen to form the second-highest scoring tandem in the WCC at 37.5 per game…duo also ranked as the fourth-highest scoring tandem in school history in total points (1,125).

2014-15 (FRESHMAN): Dynamic first-year playmaker earned a spot on the WCC’s All-Freshmen team…averaged 8.4 points and 2.5 assists in his first season on the Hilltop…averaged 8.4 points to rank as the Dons fourth leading scorer…averaged 2.5 assists per game…made his mark on the school’s all-time freshmen records in various categories, including scoring (11th; 261), assists (5th; 78), free throw percentage (6th; .730) and steals (t-6th; 31)…led the team in free throw percentage at .730 (81-for-111)…solidified a spot in the starting lineup at midseason and started 15 consecutive games before coming off the bench on Senior Night…had 13 double-figure scoring games on the season, highlighted by a 21-point outburst at Portland on Jan. 10…played 21 minutes in his collegiate debut vs. South Carolina State and finished with five points and five assists….followed up with an eight point outing against Notre Dame de Namur…registered his first double-figure scoring game of his career against Houston Baptist, finishing with 14 points…scored 14 points in a 24-miute playing stint off the bench in the WCC opener at Pacific…scored eight points and dished out a season high seven assists at Saint Mary’s…made his first of 15 consecutive starts against San Diego on New Year’s Night…scored in double figures in five straight games from Jan. 3-22, including a season-high 21 points at Portland…gained further confidence with a 16-point effort in a 71-59 win over Pepperdine on Jan. 22…solid showing in his first WCC Championship produced 13 points in the Dons first round win over Pacific and 17 points in a quarterfinal loss to Gonzaga.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, Calif. where he played for head coach Tom Taratino…also attended Army-Navy Academy in Carlsbad, Calif. for his first three years of high school before transferring to El Camino…averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game as a senior…named the Avocado West League’s Player of the Year and earned All-San Diego Section first team honors as a senior…helped the Wildcats to a 27-6 overall record and a 10-0 conference mark…El Camino advanced to the San Diego Section Open Division semifinals before falling to La Costa Canyon…earned MaxPreps second team Division 4 all-state honors as a junior at Army-Navy after averaging 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and six assists per game…also garnered first team All-Coastal League honors…helped Army-Navy to the CIF Southern California Regional Division semifinals…averaged 20.8 points, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 87 career games at Army-Navy…born August 6, 1995 in Oceanside, Calif…parents are Malcom and Dawn Watson…has two brothers, Mikel and Jerome…brother Mikel played collegiately at Wyoming and Utah State.
