Biography

CAREER: Three-year letterwinner from 2012-15…arrived on the Hilltop in 2012-13 but redshirted his freshman season…finished his career with 1,036 points, good for 31st on the school’s all-time scoring list…career field goal percentage of .541 ranked seventh all-time…appeared in 96 career games, including 70 starts…started the last 70 games of his career dating back to the final five games of the 2012-13 season…completed his degree in advertising and decided to pursue his fifth year of eligibility at another school.
 
2014-15 (JUNIOR): Second team All-WCC selection…led the team in scoring (14.0) and finished third in rebounding (5.4)…finished 10th among all WCC players in scoring and 15th in rebound average…shot 53.5 percent from the field to rank fifth in the WCC in field goal percentage…led the team in blocks with 27 and ranked ninth in the WCC in block average (0.8)…scored in double-figures in 26 of 32 games, including six 20-point games…led or shared team-high scoring honors in 11 games and led or shared the team lead in rebounding in nine games…had three double-doubles on the year vs. Portland State (23-10), Santa Clara (14-10) and Loyola Marymount (21-10)…opened the season with 13 consecutive double-figure scoring games and was averaging a season-high 15.8 points a game following a career-high 24 point effort at Pacific…averaged just 10 points over his next four games against Saint Mary’s, San Diego, BYU and Gonzaga…broke out of his scoring slump with a solid 15-point effort in USF’s 89-77 road win at Portland…kick started a five game stretch in which he averaged 16.2 points a game…finished with 22 points in the Dons 78-74 loss at BYU…made his first five shots from the floor and scored 15 of his game high 21 points before intermission in USF’s 37-point victory at Loyola Marymount….scored 10 points against Pacific in the WCC Championships and notched his sixth 20-point game of the season in the quarterfinals against Gonzaga, finishing with 21 points.

2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Started all 33 games and finished the year as the team’s fourth leading scorer with a 10.3 per game average…ranked second on the team and eighth among all WCC players in field goal percentage (53.2)…also led the team with 30 blocks and ranked ninth in the WCC in block average (0.9)…scored in double figures in 18 of 33 games…matched his career high with a 22-point effort at Portland…recorded his first career double-double against Idaho State, scoring 18 points to go along with 11 rebounds…scored in double figures in each of the first six games of the season was averaging 14.1 points a game after a 10-point effort at Oregon…held to six and three points in wins over Sonoma State and Vermont in the Golden Gate Challenge…made 8-of-11 shots from the floor en route to a 17-point performance in a loss to Illinois State…finished with 12 points against Nicholls State and 14 points at St. John’s…shot 75 percent (18-for-24) in the three-game stretch…scored a career-high 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor in USF’s 87-81 overtime victory over Portland on Dec. 28…after scoring eight points in a loss at Gonzaga, was held scoreless for the only time of the season in a home win over Loyola Marymount on Jan. 2…averaged 11.5 points a game over the next 13 contests…did not score more than seven points and shot 34.6 percent from the field over the course of the last five games of the season.

2012-13 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 31 games and started each of the last five games of the season…averaged 7.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and shot .567 (85-for-150) from the floor during a very productive first-year campaign…also made 75 percent (21-for-28) of his free throw attempts…finished the year as the team’s fifth-leading scorer and led the team in field goal percentage…had eight double-figure scoring games on the year, capped off by a 22-point effort in the season finale against Northern Kentucky…came off the bench to score 11 points in the home win over St. John’s on Dec. 4…scored 14 points at Pacific to share team-high scoring honors with Cole Dickerson… made 7-of-8 shots from the field en route to a 19-point scoring night against Dominican on Dec. 29…also pulled down a season-high eight rebounds against the Penguins…did not score more than eight points over the first 13 conference games…started each of the last five games of the season…averaged 16.4 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting .738 (31-for-42) from the field in his starting assignments…made his first career start at Loyola Marymount and contributed 11 points in a 35-minute playing stint…made 6-of-8 shots from the floor en route to a 19-point performance in USF’s home win over Pepperdine on Feb. 23…finished with 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the floor in an 83-70 win at San Diego…played 37 minutes and scored 12 points in USF’s overtime loss to Loyola Marymount at the WCC Championship…scored a season-high 22 points in the last game of the season against Northern Kentucky.

2011-12 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted the season.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, Calif….played for head coach John Raynor…earned third team All-East Bay and All-Metro honors following his senior campaign…shot .540 from the field and .450 from three-point range…San Ramon posted a 28-4 record during his junior season and shared the EBAL title with De La Salle…Wolves advanced to the CIF Division I Northern California semifinals…played for the Lakeshow AAU team.
