- Armstrong played for Midlothian High School where started on the indoor varsity team for three years racking up multiple awards and accomplishments including 2019 Honorable mention, 2020 and 2021 All-District, MHS 2020 blocker of the year, 2021-2022 district leader in blocks, and a Sweet Sixteen finish in the Class 5A playoffs in 2021.
- She was the second player in Midlothian history to have 300+ kills and 100+ blocks in one season.
- She also received academic all-district honors all three years. Killian played for NRG club.
