2013 Indoor: Lead the team with 5.55 assists per set and was ninth in the WCC … had a season-high of 32 assists against Pacific on Oct. 19… her best overall game was against SMU on Sept. 13 with 28 assists, 17 digs, one ace and one kill … ended her season with 611 assists, 186 digs, 15 aces, nine kills and seven blocks.
2013 Sand: Compiled a team-best 5-3 overall record with partner Inbar Vinarsky from the No. 5 spot ... tallied 28 service aces, including a seven-ace outing against Sacramento State on March 22 ... posted 17 kills and 11 digs in a 2-1 win against Pacific on April 7 ... finished the season with a .242 hitting percentage.
2012 Indoor: Finished second on the team in assists with 136…had big games in assists matching up against Gonzaga this season, 44 assists on the road against them (10/4) and 20 assists hosting them at USF (11/3)…twice put up a season best six digs, at Gonzaga (10/4) and versus Portland (10/25).
2011 Indoor: Scored first point of season on service ace against Saint Mary’s (9/24)… posted 0.15 service aces per set percentage… recorded season-high four digs against Santa Clara (10/22)… tallied one dig and one service ace in last game played against No. 17 San Diego (10/29)… played 20 sets in 11 matches
2010 Indoor: Played in 36 sets… transitioned from setter to outside hitter… totaled three blocks against Tulsa (9/4)… notched two service aces with no serving errors at Santa Clara (10/22).
Prep/Club Career: Member of the 2009 and 2008 CIF State Division III runner-up Sacred Heart Preparatory team that won two Northern California Championships and two Central Coast Section Championships… named to MaxPreps California All-State volleyball team in 2009… was named to All-Tournament team during the CIF State Finals in 2009… played for Slainte Volleyball Club for six years, which was runner-up in the Junior Olympic National Division Bronze Division in 2009 and runner-up in the Junior Olympic National Division Silver Division in 2008… club team finished third overall in the Northern California Region in 2008 and 2009.
Personal: Mary Mackenzie Murtagh… Maggie and Tim Murtagh… born February of 1992… career goals are for USF to qualify for the NCAA Tournament and to make a difference on the court in games or in practice… chose USF because she’s lived in the city her entire life and the school had a good nursing program… interests include Mexican food, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, camping and traveling… major is nursing.
