Indoor: Started in 14 out of her 15 matches... Had three match with 10 or more kills — Seattle U (Aug. 31), UC Riverside (Sept. 6), and Pacific (Oct. 1)... Recorded 96 kills for the season, averaging 1.92 kills per game... Had 120.5 point (2.41 PTS/S) for the Dons.
2018-19 (JUNIOR)
Beach:
Indoor: Was an important part of the Dons' offense and defense before going down with an injury for the rest of the season ... Appeared in 10 matches with nine starts, collecting 74 kills, 40 blocks and 10 digs in that short time ... Had at least five kills in nine of 10 matches and multiple blocks in eight of 10 ... Posted a season-high 13 kills and a .346 hitting percentage to go with four blocks and two digs in a five-set victory over Hofstra (Sept. 7) ... Hit over .340 with at least seven kills on five separate occasions, including a season-best .700 hitting percentage (eight kills, one error, 10 attempts) with eight kills versus UTSA (Aug. 24) in West Point, N.Y. ... Notched a season-high seven blocks twice, first versus Southern Utah (Sept. 7) and again versus Santa Clara (Sept. 20).
2017-18 (SOPHOMORE)
Beach:
Indoor: Played in 16 matches with two starts ... Totaled 48 kills, four service aces, 12 digs and 12 blocks in 35 sets played (34 in WCC play) ... Saw a season high of nine kills and 9.5 points recorded against Pepperdine.
2016-17 (FRESHMAN)
Beach: Played exclusively at the No. 4 spot with Shannon Levinson... did not win any of her 17 matches on the spring.
Indoor: Finished her debut campaign on The Hilltop ranking second on the team in blocks (65) and third in kills (175) ... Had a season-high 13 kills against Portland (Oct. 29) ... Tallied double-digit kill totals in six other matches on the year ... Contributed a season-best six blocks on two occasions: Campbell (Sept. 3) and Brown (Sept. 10).
PRIOR TO USF: 2015 All-Empire League most valuable player as a junior at Cypress HS … Earned first-team all-league honors all three varsity seasons for the Centurions … three-time all-academic selection … played club volleyball with Protégé (2012), under the direction of Kyle Smith, TCA (‘13-14) coached by Dan Gwitt, and most recently played for Kevin Ray’s Club H team (’16) … also a member of the ASL (American Sign Language) Club in high school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kristi and David Ashman … Father played collegiate football at Hawaii and UCLA … Cousin Tyus Edney won an NCAA basketball championship at UCLA and went on to play professionally with the Sacramento Kings and abroad, winning a Euroleague championship … Born Sept. 15, 1998, in Cypress, Calif.
