Why Blum Chose USF:Â "I was chosen to receive a scholarship from USF and coach Pete Peletta. I knew we would have great teams based on the other players attending USF, and knew the Jesuit education would serve me well continuing on after my formal education."
Favorite USF Memories:Â "I had a terrific career while playing at USF and the best part of the experience are the existing memories of my teammates over the years. My teammates were and are the best. Ollie Johnson, Joe Ellis, Huey Thomas, Ed Thomas, Ray Gale, Russ Gumina, Dennis Black, and the deceased: Erv Mueller, Lloyd Moffatt, Dick Brainard, and Charles James, have all provided me with lifelong, precious memories for decades. It was truly wonderful seeing some of them at the 2019 USF Hall of Fame induction ceremonial dinner."Â Â Â Â Â
The USF Student-Athlete Experience:Â "Learning and growing at USF, in the greatest city in the United States at that time and in that era was just fabulous."Â
