Women's Golf Concludes Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in 14th

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team, led by freshman Emelie Lundstrom, finished in 14th at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. The three-day tournament was hosted by the University of Washington at Sahalee Country Club.
After waiting out a two-hour fog to start the final round, Lundstrom, from Orebro, Sweden, closed out the tournament in a tie for 34th, shooting a 19-over 78-78-79–235. Lundstrom rolled in eight birdies during the 54-hole competition to lead the Dons. She currently leads the team with a 76.0 stroke per round average through three tournaments.
USF closed out the day firing 315-324-329–968 in the team standings, good for 14th.The host team concluded the tournament with a 293-293-300–886 to claim a four-stroke victory over UC-Davis. Playing as an individual, SooBin Kim of Washington earned top medalist honors. Three of Washington's five team golfers landed on the leaderboard's Top 10.
USF will close out the fall golf season at the University of Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate Oct. 13-14.
