(San Francisco) - San Francisco's first two games of the 2012 season against San Jose State have been moved from Municipal Stadium to Blethen Field in San Jose, CA. In addition, the season opener on Friday, February 17 has been changed from a 6:00 p.m. start time to a 2:00 p.m. first pitch.
Blethen Field is San Jose State's on-campus facility. The venue change is due to the new turf, which was installed in Municipal Stadium over the off-season, not being in adequate playing condition.
Saturday's game time is still at 1:00 p.m., but that game has also been moved to Blethen Field.
