USF VS. BRONCOS/PILOTS WINNER: USF enters the 2012 Zappos.com West Coast Conference Championship as the No. 5 seed and will take on the winner of Wednesday's No. 8 Portland vs. No. 9 Santa Clara play-in game on Thursday at 6:00 PM from the Orleans Arena in a game televised nationally on BYUtv and streamed on USFDons.com via Stretch Internet. The winner of Thursday's contest will take on No. 4 Loyola Marymount Friday in the quarterfinals at 6:00 PM on ESPNU.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE DONS: USF dropped a tough 67-60 decision to No. 23 Saint Mary's in the 2011-12 regular season finale at War Memorial Gym. Five Dons reached double-digit scoring, led by 13 from sophomore guard Cody Doolin.
THREE DONS EARN ALL-WCC HONORS: Senior forward Angelo Caloiaro was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team, while junior center Perris Blackwell and senior guard Rashad Green were named Honorable Mention.
- Second straight year USF has had three or more all-conference picks
- USF extends its WCC record to 57 players earning All-WCC first or second team selection with a total of 97 honors
- Blackwell earns honorable mention selection for the second straight year

MOVING ON UP: Senior forward Angelo Caloiaro enters the Zappos.com WCC Championship ranked No. 19 on the USF career scoring list with 1,228 points (9.9 ppg). Next up is 3-point marksman Ali Thomas (1997-01) with 1,237 (10.5).
MOVING ON UP II: Junior guard Michael Williams enters the Zappos.com WCC Championship ranked No. 37 on the USF career scoring list with 934 points (10.9). Senior guard Rashad Green is at No. 38 with 925 (10.3).

- USF has plenty of WCC Tournament history vs. both Santa Clara and Portland The Dons have taken on the Broncos eight times (2-6) and have tackled the Pilots three times (2-1).
- USF played Santa Clara in the quarterfinals of the 2008 tournament and the Broncos won 51-50 on controversial last second free throws (at USD).
- USF last faced Portland in the opening round of the 2005 tourney and seized a 65-60 decision (at SCU).
