Dons Send Contingent to Meet Hosted By San Francisco State

THIS WEEK FOR THE DONS: The University of San Francisco track team will compete this week in the Johnny Mathis Invitational in San Francisco. Freshman Robert Parker and junior Alex Fowler kick off the action for the Dons on Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM in the men's javelin. The rest of the squad will compete on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Notable competitors for USF include senior Jesus Romo, who is competing in the men's steeplechase for the first time this season.
Senior Nicole Bowler – a 2011 NCAA Regional qualifier – is running in the women's 1500m, her first race since setting personal records in both the 3k and mile (also a new program record) during the indoor season. Freshman Hillary Harris is competing in the 1500m for the first time, hoping to continue her success since winning the 800m in the Aggie Open on March 10 and setting a personal record of 2:11 in the 800m at the Nor Cal Opener on March 3.
