Dons Gear Up For 2012 West Coast Conference Championships

(Dove Canyon, CA) – San Francisco women's golf had a tough final round Tuesday at the 2012 Anteater Invitational at Dove Canyon, finishing in 11th place. This was the final regular season event for the Dons as they now focus on the upcoming West Coast Conference Championships beginning April 16 at the San Juan Oaks Golf Club.

Freshman Bethany Garton was the top individual finisher for the Dons in a share of 14th place at 230 (80, 74, 76).

San Francisco finished the event with a 54-hole score of 957 (311, 316, 330). Washington State won the tournament at 904 (299, 297, 308), while Mallory Kent captured individual honors for the Cougars at seven-over 220.
