The Diamond Dons went to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School in downtown San Francisco to speak to students about the importance of education and sports with San Francisco RBI.
San Francisco RBI is an organization in partnership with Major League Baseball that focuses on leveling the playing field for underserved boys and girls by sponsoring year-round literacy and baseball and softball programs. REACH, BELIEVE, INSPIRE -- that's the mission of San Francisco RBI.
Seven members of the 2012 USF Diamond Dons baseball team attended the event including Cameron Love, Kyle Zimmer, Aritz Garcia, Jordan Remer, Ben Graff, Mason Morioka, and Sheldon Lee.
