SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The No. 19 San Francisco women's cross country team finished third overall led by sixth place finisher Kailey Ulland in the San Francisco State Invitational Friday at Golden Gate Park. The lone men's runner, Jimmy McManus, finished ninth in the men's 8k.

The women's team finished third overall, with four runners placing within the top 20 overall. Joining Ulland were Mary Sandri (10th), Brooke McCandless (11th) and Hilary Kigar (15th). Elizabeth Schultz and Lea Lunblad rounded out the women's finishers.

As a team, the USF women's squad finished behind only Sacramento State and Cal State Stanislaud.Jenny Bergren from Academy of Art placed first overall with a final time of 21:52 in the women's 6k.

Junior Jimmy McManus finished ninth overall with a time of 26:26 in the men's 8k race. McManus was the lone men's representative for San Francisco.
