WALNUT, Calif. – Led by
Maor Tiyouri's new personal best in the 10,000 meters, the San Francisco women's track team completed the first day of competition at the Mt. SAC Invitational Thursday.
Tiyouri, a junior from Kfar Saba, Israel, posted a time of 34:45.34 at the track at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. Her race time resulted in a 13th place finish in the invite elite division.
Alice Baker, also running in the 10,000 meters, finished in 35:58.96 to finish 23rd.
Elena Burkard also competed for the Dons during Thursday's race slate. She posted a 12th place finish in Section 3 of the 1500 meters clocking a time of 4:30.96.
USF will continue the at the Mt. SCA Invitational Friday, along with opening competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., and also at the Woody Wilson Classic in Davis, Calif.
