SAN FRANCISCO – USF's men's and women's indoor track and field programs received public recognition by the NCAA for their high achievement for their latest multi-year Academic Progress Rate scores, which were announced Wednesday.
The awards are given each year to teams with APRs in the top 10 percent of their respective sports.
APR scores are a measure of classroom performance of student athletes on every Division I team based on eligibility and retention for each semester or quarter. The awards announced Wednesday are based on APR numbers that represent the combination of scores over a four-year period starting with the 2008-09 academic year.
