SAN FRANCISCO - USF men's golf coach Rich Yokota has announced Ashton Silk, a senior at Juniperro Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University next fall.

A first team All-West Catholic League selection, Silk posted a team-best stroke average of 37.4 as a senior. He posted three top-10 finishes in Future Collegian World Tour (FCWT) events, including a fourth place showing at the FCWT's stop in San Ramon. Silk also was the recipient of Serra's Scholar Athlete Award for outstanding athletic and academic performance. He was also recently awarded with the Young Man's Service League President's Award.
