SAN BRUNO – USF junior midfielder Davi Ramos has been named to the 2015 West Coast Conference All-Academic team. A marketing major with a 3.60 GPA, Ramos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) has also contributed on the pitch with three goals and two assists.
Ramos was joined by two fellow Dons who earned honorable mention recognition – junior defender Christian De Luna (international business, 3.37) and junior striker David Garrett (international studies, 3.25).
This is the first all-academic honor for any of these three student-athletes.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team. This season 37 student-athletes met or exceeded the selection criteria.
