USF's women's tennis team wraps up its regular season this weekend as the Dons travel to the Pacific Northwest for matches against Gonzaga on Friday and Washington State on Saturday.

The match between the Dons and Bulldogs will get underway at 12 noon on Friday while first serve Saturday in Pullman is set for 11:00 a.m.

The Dons are now 11-8 overall and 6-2 in conference play after winning two of three matches last weekend. USF posted impressive conference wins over Pacific and Saint Mary's before dropping its last match to No. 3 California Sunday in Berkeley.

Gonzaga will bring an 11-7 overall mark and a 2-5 conference record into Friday's match at the Stevens Center, where the Zags are 8-1 on the year. The Zags gave San Diego all it could handle before dropping a 4-3 road decision to the Toreros last Sunday.

At 6-2 in conference play, the Dons have secured their most WCC wins since the conference adopted the round robin format four years ago. USF is currently tied with Portland for second place in the WCC standings and a win over Gonzaga would assure USF of no lower than a third seed in next week's WCC Championships which get underway on Wednesday in San Diego. USF holds the tiebreaker over Saint Mary's, which sits at 5-2 with two matches remaining against Loyola Marymount and 18th-ranked Pepperdine this weekend.

USF has been getting excellent play from the top of its singles lineup, where junior Andrea Ka is 23-6 overall, including a 6-1 record against WCC foes. Ka is expected to square off against Gonzaga's Katie Edwards in Friday's top singles match. The Dons' top doubles team of Ka and senior Marina Nikolic are 6-2 in conference play and will bring a three-match winning streak into Friday's match where they will face the formidable duo of Edwards and Samantha Polayes.

USF blanked the Zags, 4-0 in last year's match in San Francisco and have won all three matches vs. Gonzaga since the WCC began round robin play in 2011-12.
