USF men's tennis team will return to action on Saturday as the Dons play host to the Saint Mary's Gaels in a West Coast Conference match at the Cal Club. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
The Dons, 10-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play, are coming off a 4-2 over Loyola Marymount on its home court last Saturday, the team's fifth win in six home matches this season. A win over the Gaels would move the Dons over the .500 mark in conference play as teams jockey for position in the upcoming West Coast Conference Championships in San Diego.
Saint Mary's will entertain Santa Clara Friday in Moraga before venturing to the City for Saturday's match at the Cal Club.
USF posted a thrilling 4-3 victory over Saint Mary's last season in Moraga, with Bernardo Saraiva providing the winning point with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (6-0) victory in the deciding match.
USF will return to action on Tuesday when the Dons travel to Stanford to face the Cardinal, which is ranked 36th heading into its matches this weekend against USC and UCLA. The Dons will wrap up WCC play next weekend when they play host to Gonzaga on Friday and Portland Saturday.

"The guys are really hungry for this weekends match and want to create momentum going into the last two weeks of the season," said head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida. "They are feeling good about the LMU win but know that they could have done a better job in doubles. I look forward to seeing them really come out with a lot of energy and aggressive play against Saint Mary's."
