Watch the Comcast segment

SAN FRANCISCO – Hilary Somers and the University of San Francisco women's tennis team were recently profiled in a segment of cable television show "Game On", which airs weekly on Comcast Hometown Network.
 
In the segment, Somers reflects on her 14 years with the program and the exponential growth seen not only on the courts, but throughout the athletic department.
 
Student-athletes Genevieve McCloskey and Sofia Holmberg reflect on Somers' coaching style and their student-athlete experience at USF, while Director of Tennis Peter Bartlett commends Somers for continuing to take the women's program to new heights, including its highest national ranking ever.
 
The Dons closed the season with a 13-10 overall record, and a 7-2 mark in West Coast Conference action. USF capped the year as the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and advanced to the semifinal round.
