Final Team and Individual Results
ST. GEORGE, Utah – USF's women's golf team wrapped up play this afternoon at the BYU Entrada Classic where the Dons finished ninth in a 12-team field.
USF shot a final round 305 on Tuesday to finish at 921 (+57) for the 54-hole event.
Kent State, ranked 12th nationally by Golfstat.com, claimed the team title with a 2-over score of 866, good for a 13-stroke victory over host BYU.
Karoline Stormo of Kent State picked up her first collegiate victory as the freshman finished at 4-under 212. Stormo opened the tournament with a 4-under 68 on Monday and followed with a pair of even par rounds to claim a four-stroke victory over Kendra Dalton of BYU and her Flash teammate Pimnipa Panthong.
Vanessa Ha earned her second top-10 of the season and ninth of her career as the junior tied for fifth-place at 219 (+3) after closing with a 73.
Junior Emily Laskin posted her best career finish, tying for 15th place at 8-over 224 following a round of 76 which was highlighted by three birdies.
Senior Ayaka Suzuki tied for 33rd at 233 (+17) after shooting a 77 on Tuesday.
Alison Lillie (248) and Samantha Gong (269) finished 62nd and 69th, respectively.
USF will return to action on March 20 when the Dons join the field at March Mayhem at The Farms, hosted by San Diego State in Rancho Santa Fe.
