TOMORROW'S GAME
The University of San Francisco women's basketball team (8-9, 3-3) are on the road for two West Coast Conference match ups this week. They start with Santa Clara (5-12, 1-5) on Thursday evening, looking to extended the Bronco's skid to 0-3.
Coach Goodenbour's squad is looking to rebound from a tough loss against the top WCC team, Gonzaga, in Spokane, Wash. this past Saturday. As the mid-point of the season is coming up, the Dons are even in the win-loss column, seated fifth in a three-way tie with San Diego and Loyola Marymount.
THE SERIES
The Dons are 37-61 all-time against Santa Clara with the first meeting coming in 1964-65. Last year the two teams split the season series with each picking up a win at home.
UP NEXT
USF continues on the road as they work their way through a four-game road trip. Games remaining after the Bronco's include Pepperdine (Jan. 20) and Pacific (Jan. 25). The next home game will be against Gonzaga on Jan. 27. Tickets are available here.
