COACHES CORNER
"This will be a high-caliber match. We always have massive battles with UC Davis. It's just one of those teams where you know this is going to be a barn-burner. UC Davis is a great blue-collar team. They have always been that way and even more so now with their coach — he always gets guys who are hard workers. For us, it's not about flashy shots. It's about working hard and know what we are up against. We are getting ready for it physically. Our team is going in with confidence from the Arizona trip because both teams we faced were tough teams and we really had to earn it. Right now, we are in a good place. We need to make sure we are healthy to start off and sustain that level throughout." — head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida
