SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco women's tennis team faced Santa Clara at the Degheri Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon, and the Dons dropped the match 0-4.

The doubles point went to Santa Clara after pairs Hanna Borjeson and Margarita Treyes, and Emily Maxfield and Mya Bui dropped their matches 6-1 and 6-2, respectively. The last doubles match went unfinished with pair Anna Sokiran and Shanna Dos Santos leading 4-2.

Santa Clara clinched the match over the Dons only three matches into the singles round. After two matches were dropped, USF was down 3-0 and Borjeson battled through a tiebreaker set for her team, but ultimately fell 6-4, 3-6, 4-6. The rest of singles went unfinished.
