SEATTLE — A trio of Dons turned in strong performances Saturday at the University of Washington's UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor facility, led by
Chris Olley's school record in the 3,000 meters.
Olley broke the eight-minute mark with ease in the 3,000, running a time of 7 minutes, 58.42 seconds. He finished second in his heat – the second-fastest of four heats Saturday – and placed 13th overall.
Jack Rowe also ran in the same heat of the 3,000, posting a time of 8:03.75 for 18th overall.

The Dons next compete in two weeks at two different meets on Feb. 8 and 9. Part of the team will travel back to Seattle for the Husky Classic, while the other part will head to Albuquerque, N.M., for the Don Kirby Invitational at the University of New Mexico.
