SPOKANE, Wash. – The University of San Francisco's men's soccer team's second half goal wasn't enough, as the Dons fell to Gonzaga, 2-1 on Saturday night at Lugar Field.

San Francisco faces No. 14 Stanford on Wednesday at Cagan Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tonight's loss pushes the Dons record to 2-8-1. Cameron Martin, Ashish Chattha, Jaidon Reynolds each recorded a shot taken as Zyan Andrade, Jorge Ruiz, Connor McAuslan and Jonah Van Der Werf each recorded a shot on goal.
- At the 17th minute, the Bulldogs struck first to lead 1-0. The play started with a corner kick that crossed the box for a header executed by Bulldogs' Garrett Wilson.
- To begin the second half, Gonzaga quickly scored when forward Demetrius Kigeya launched it from the top of the box to lead 2-0 at the 49th minute mark.
- San Francisco made it interesting when Jonah Van Der Werf scored his second goal of the season at the 72nd minute mark.
San Francisco faces No. 14 Stanford on Wednesday at Cagan Stadium.
