KENTFIELD, Calif. — The San Francisco beach volleyball team was perfect Friday, sweeping both of its matches at the College of Marin, defeating the host Mariners, 5-0, and downing the College of San Mateo, 4-0, in a neutral site match at the Kentfield Beach Volleyball Complex.

The Dons' No. 1 pair of
Anna Dalla Vecchia and
Carly Lowry went 2-0 on Friday, moving their season record to 5-1 overall. USF's No. 2 pair of
Camille Araujo and
Victoria Rogers also went 2-0 to move to 3-3 on the season so far.

Madelyn LaFollette and
Emily Zinger moved up to play at the No. 3 spot for the first time this year, where they went 2-0 on Friday to move their overall season record to 4-2. Finally,
Ella Reames and
Moana To'oto'o played at the No. 4 spot for the first time this year, winning both of their matches to improve to 3-3 on the year.

In the lone No. 5 pairs match of the day (College of San Mateo only played four pairs),
Lena Bondar and
Tanner Shayne Pemberton were victorious, lifting their season record together to 4-2.

San Francisco's home match versus West Coast Conference East Bay rival Saint Mary's has been moved from its originally scheduled location in Brisbane to Kentfield – the same location the Dons played Friday at the College of Marin's home beach volleyball facility. The match against the Gaels will still tip off at 10 a.m.
