Behind The Mask | Dons Spotlight on Athletic Performance

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — This week's episode of the University of San Francisco's cable television show "Behind the Mask," hones in on the athletic department's true appreciation for its student-athletes, ensuring that they have the best resources and personnel in order to be successful. The Athletic Performance at USF goes above and beyond just the general status of a college athlete, as the team of highly trained professionals focuses on each individuals well-being in and out of competition.

Senior Associate AD, Doug Padron prioritizes that every student-athlete comes first, by administering the top of the line strength and conditioning, sports medicine, nutrition, and mental performance assistance. Assistant A.D. Athletic Performance Justin Leach, Associate Athletic Trainer Nicki Graham, Associate Strength and Conditioning coach Brian Luchsinger, Clinical Registered Dietitian Alyssa Haberman and Mental Performance coach Yvonne Gomez speak on the symbolism of the performance center at USF and what it means to prioritize each day focusing on the betterment of their very own student-athletes.
