STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of San Francisco's men's tennis team fell Sunday afternoon to the Pacific Tigers, 4-1.
Pacific tallied the first doubles win at No. 2 over
Phuc Huynh and
Ryan Marker, 6-3. The No. 3 pairing of
Nitzan Ricklis and Romeo Jivraj collected a key victory in doubles for the Dons. Moments later, the Tigers then sealed the doubles point at No. 1 winning over
Oz Daniel and
Paul Giraud, 6-4.
Oz Daniel earned the Dons only victory in the No. 6 singles spot in a straight set match, 6-3, 6-3.
"Good win for
Nitzan Ricklis and Romeo Jivraj in doubles and good win from
Oz Daniel in singles. Need to bounce back next week," said head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida.
