SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco's men's tennis team gears up for a busy week ahead as the Dons take on Stanford, Gonzaga and Portland on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

About San Francisco
  • USF is 3-8 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
  • Last week, the Dons fell to Saint Mary's 4-3 and Pacific 4-1 to begin conference play.
  • Nitzan Ricklis leads the team with a 7-3 singles record at the No. 2 (4-1) and 3 (3-2) spots.
  • The pairings' of Paul Giraud and Ryan Marker and Oz Daniel and Phuc Huynh both collect two wins in doubles competition.
About Stanford
  • The Cardinal is 11-2 overall and 2-0 in Pac-12 play.
  • Stanford is undefeated (8-0) on its home court and is currently on a six-game winning-streak. Its only two losses of the season was against No. 2 Ohio State, 1-6 and to No. 13 National Team Indoor Championships, 2-4. 
  • Stanford defeated four nationally ranked opponents this season: No. 5 USC (4-3), No. 19 Tulane (4-0), No. 4 Florida (4-1) and No. 21 Arizona (4-0).
  • Six different Cardinals record double-digit wins in singles play: Tom Fawcett (20-6), David Wilczynski (20-11) Sameer Kumar (19-13), Axel Geller (18-7) Eric Fomba (16-3), and William Genesen (16-10). 
  • Fomba is currently on a nine-game singles streak.
  • In doubles play, the No. 1 pairing of Genender and Kumar lead the team with a 18-9 overall record. 
About Gonzaga
  • The Bulldogs are 10-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play. 
  • Gonzaga's loss in WCC play was against San Diego, 2-4 on March 9. 
  • Ruadhan O'Sullivan leads the team with a 18-7 singles record at the No. 1 (3-4) and 2 (5-1) spots. O'Sullivan is 10-2 on the tour.  Right behind him is Sam Feit who is 17-7 overall and is most dominant at No. 2 with a 6-1 record. Kyle Everly is 15-7 and collects most of his wins at the No. 3 (5-3), No. 5 (3-0) and No. 6 (2-0).
  • The Bulldogs No. 1 pairing of Feit and O'Sullivan records a team-best 18-5 doubles record. The duo is 9-3 in dual and 9-2 on the tour. 
About Portland
  • The Pilots are 5-9 overall and 0-2 in conference. 
  • Portland's two conference losses of the season was against San Diego, 1-6 and BYU 0-7. 
  • The pairing of Tom Hann and Elfttherios Neos lead the team with its seven wins (7-10) in doubles play. 
  • In singles competition, seven Pilots record 10 or more wins: Sema Pankin (16-11), Elftherios Neos (16-13), Nicklas Oberg (15-12), Leo Hibi (15-10), Tom Hann (14-13), Issa Yoshida (14-15) and Carlos Donat (12-4).

San Francisco hits the road for a three-game road trip. The Dons first stop will be at the Unviversity of Utah on Thursday, April 4.
