DAVIS, Calif. —
The University of San Francisco track team enjoyed a dominating day Saturday at the Woody Wilson Open on the campus of UC Davis, grabbing four event wins including two 1-2-3 sweeps and another program record in the women's 4x400-meter relay at the Woody Wilson Track.

The dominance started in the men's 1,500 meters, where USF snagged each of the top three places in the event. Jack Rowe outlasted teammate Chris Olley for the victory in 3 minutes, 47.10 seconds. Olley was right behind him in 3:47.61. Hugh Nicklason completed the 1-2-3 sweep with a third-place finish in 3:52.27.

San Francisco owned the 800, winning both the men's and women's events with another 1-2-3 sweep on the women's side. Scott Halsted took the top of the podium for the Dons on the men's side, leading the entire way and running 1:53.83. He beat the rest of the field by nearly three seconds and won his heat by more than 3 1/4 seconds.

Sadi Henderson led the way for the women in the 800, winning the event by 2 1/2 seconds with a time of 2:07.71. Dana Klein was second in 2:10.32 and Alena Ulrichova capped the sweep in third place, finishing in 2:10.79. Emma Stahr gave the Dons four in the top-10 with her eighth-place showing in 2:16.21.

Henderson and Ulrichova would return at the end of the meet to log a second consecutive program record in the 4x400 meter relay. Henderson and Ulrichova, along with Samantha Lind (who was second in the open 400 in 55.72) and Faith Cardenas, lowered the record to 3:48.68, two weeks after they ran 3:49.62 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic at Chabot College in Hayward (with Julija Praprotnik instead of Lind).

Josephine Brysting (9th, 4:45.78) and Josien Scheepens (10th, 4:47.64) both placed among the top-10 in the women's 1,500. Hannah Esparza was among the top-15 in the 400 with a 13th-place finish in 1:00.17.

San Francisco next competes at the Bryan Clay Invitational on the campus of Azusa Pacific University on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
