SAN FRANCISCO — Santa Clara swept the University of San Francisco's men's tennis team, 4-0 on Saturday morning at the Degheri Tennis Center.
The No. 2 pairing of
Paul Giraud and
Ryan Marker downed Vasileios Iliopourlos and Arthur Neuhaus, 6-4 to begin the match. Moments latter, Connor Garnett and Kamran Khan tied the match, 1-1, after defeating
Nitzan Ricklis and Romeo Jivraj, 6-3. The Broncos clinched the doubles competition in the No. 1 spot, taking down
Oz Daniel and
Phuc Huynh, 7-6(5).
In singles, Santa Clara quickly recorded wins in the No. 2, 6, and 4 spots to secure the sweep.
