MALIBU, Calif. — No. 6 Pepperdine defeated the University of San Francisco's women's tennis team, 4-1, this afternoon at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.
Pepperdine remains undefeated in conference play with its 8-0 record and 18-3 overall. San Francisco is now 8-12 overall and 1-7 in the WCC.
In singles competition, the Waves collected wins on courts 1, 3 and 5. No. 33 Ashley Lahey began singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over
Mya Bui, followed by Dzina Milovanovic who took control of the 6-0, 6-1 win against
Hanna Borjeson. The dual was then sealed at No. 5 after
Rita Colyer fell to Satsuki Takamura, 6-0, 6-1.
San Francisco wraps up the regular season on Saturday at Loyola Marymount at 1 p.m.
