Both tennis programs were named ITA All-Academic Teams

Men's and Women's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Teams

TEMPE, Ariz. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2019 All-Academic teams and Scholar-Athletes on Thursday as nine Dons earned individual honors from the men's and women's tennis programs.

On the men's side, Phuc Huynh, Nitzan Ricklis and David Woodland were honored to the ITA-All-Academic team. Individually on the women's side, Hanna Borjeson, Mya Bui, Rita Colyer, Shanna Dos Santos, Alexa Meyer and Margarita Treyes were honored ITA All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.

USF's incoming transfer sophomore, Mitch Johnson (Utah State) was also named to the ITA Scholar-Athlete list. 

All-Academic teams boasts a GPA of 3.20 or higher. In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
