SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco athletics department is pleased to announce a new video segment called "Inside Perspective." The series that will look at important members of the USF family, past and present.
The segment was born over the summer by
Katie Morgan, the Dons' Emmy award winning Director of Creative Video, with collaborative help from
Woo Nguyen, USF's Creative Media Specialist, and will be hosted by Charles Wollin.
Each episode, Wollin will sit down with key members of the Dons' athletics family, including prominent members of the department, current student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and alumni, to discuss their lives in and around athletics outside the lines of competition.
First up, Wollin is joined by women's soccer head coach
Jim Millinder. Millinder, set to begin his eighth year at the helm of the Dons' program, is an icon in soccer world. He enjoyed a career that began with time as a professional soccer player prior to starting his successful coaching career that has seen him win over 300 games across all levels of collegiate athletics.
