SAN FRANCISCO - The University of San Francisco men's tennis team is back at the Pacific Valley Tennis Championships this weekend in Fresno, Calif. The tournament begins Saturday and runs through Sunday.
"The Dons are looking forward to this weekend because we will play three high-quality matches," said head coach
Pablo Pires de Almeida. "This tournament is a great opportunity for us to create momentum going into the second half of our season."
LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Dons were on the court for a match against UC Santa Barbara that ended in a 6-1 loss. The Dons are currently 4-5 on the season.
USF secured the doubles point after 6-3 wins from pairs
Paul Giraud and
Ori Maior as well as
Nitzan Ricklis and
Johan Garpered.
The Dons however couldn't continue their momentum in singles and ultimately fell to the Gauchos, 6-1.

The Dons will be home at the Marin Tennis Club for a match against the University of Alabama at Birmingham on March 20. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
